If you have ever been out hunting, fishing or hiking and come across a cow moose with a calf, you know it can be a little unnerving. After all, cow moose are known to be fiercely protective and often quite violent while watching out for their young.
The woman, Sandy Irwin, who posted the video calmly approached the calf and freed it from the fencing that held it captive. And she did so with the mother very close by.
According to her Facebook page, Irwin appears to have a great deal of experience in the outdoors. She is listed as a hunting guide in Saskatchewan and has several photos while hunting deer and bear.
