Elk NetworkThe Newest Addition to the Enduron Family of Powders

General | August 15, 2019

Introduced in 2018, IMR Enduron 8133 has the slowest burn rate in the Enduron family. This is a true magnum propellant yielding outstanding performance in 6.5-300 Weatherby, 264 Win Mag, 28 Nosler and 300 Rem Ultra Mag, among other cartridges. Loading density is perfect for magnums, nicely filling the case at maximum charges, contributing to superb uniformity and accuracy.

Handloaders will find its burn rate closely resembles Hodgdon Retumbo but charge weights are materially different; IMR recommends always consulting www.IMRReloading.com for the most accurate, up-to- date data.

As with other Enduron family powders, IMR 8133 utilizes the latest in modern powder technology, which provides two key performance enhancements: 1) IMR’s specially formulated Copper Fouling Eliminator dramatically decreases copper fouling in rifle barrels, allowing you to spend more time shooting and less time cleaning rifling to retain accuracy. And 2) temperature change stability – important for large capacity hunting cartridges, point of impact will remain the same regardless of large swings in temperature, humidity, or climate conditions.

These performance enhancing features along with the confidence that comes standard with every IMR Enduron powder, provide an ideal powder whether you’re handloading for precision long range shooting or pursuing big game.
