Some people may not know that there are wild, free-ranging elk in Oklahoma. Not only are they there but the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge in the southeast part of the state is hosting elk tours to see them.

Tours begin on September 3 and continue through October 21. Reservations are required by calling the Refuge Visitor Center at (580) 429-2197.
