Elk NetworkRMEF, Others Offer Reward in Wisconsin Elk Poaching Incident

The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is joining forces with the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources’ Bureau of Law Enforcement, Monroe County Crime Stoppers and others trying to find the person(s) responsible for poaching a cow elk during Wisconsin’s gun-deer season.

According to WEAU-TV, authorities say it happened on November 19, 2018, about six miles southeast of Black River Falls in Jackson County.

There was at least one yellow ear tag and an orange GPS collar on the elk.
