You know the old saying, right? “A picture is worth a thousand words.” Wildlife officials in Colorado are spreading their own message far and wide with a Twitter photo.

The Colorado Wildlife Council’s mission is to educate the public about the benefits of hunting and fishing.The Director of Colorado Parks and Wildlife appoints members to the Wildlife Council.  It is accompanied by a tiny billboard that states this:  “Fees from hunting and fishing licenses go to conserving Colorado’s wildlife and natural habitats. hugahunter.com

Specifically, 75 cents of each hunting and fishing license purchased in Colorado goes to the Wildlife Management Education Fund which focuses on educating the public on the important role sportsmen and women play in wildlife management.

Hunting and fishing also contribute greatly to Colorado’s economy. See the infographic below.
