Elk NetworkOregon Authorities Seek Elk Poachers

Authorities in northwest Oregon are searching for the those responsible for poaching of three cow elk.

According to KPTV-TV, someone illegally killed the animals on Willamina Creek Road in Yamhill County.

Investigating troopers with the Oregon State Police say the perpetrators shot the elk on privately-owned timberland and used ATVs to pull them to the side of the road. They also received information and found the hides left behind west of Carlton.
