Elk NetworkMan Uses Doorbell Cam to Shoo Away Flower-Eating Elk

What’s the best way to shoo away an unwelcome visitor from your front porch, especially if you’re 40 miles away at work? Try yelling through the speaker of your doorbell camera. That’s exactly what a man from his computer in Denver.

According to KCNC-TV, he received a notification from his system’s motion activation system. When he pulled up the doorbell cam, he saw several animals in his yard including a bull elk eating flowers right outside his front door. So he yelled.

“My workers all jumped up and looked at me, ‘What did you do?’” he told KCNC.

He explained the situation and then watched what happened back home. The bull and other elk eventually left the scene but not before they polished off all the flowers.
