The Arizona Game and Fish Department (AGFD) recently published its recommendations for the 2020 and 2021 elk, pronghorn and fall turkey and population management hunts, and wants to know what you think.
The recommendations spell out dates, areas, species, sex of species and number of suggested permits.
AFGD comes to that determination by using science-based methods to assure wildlife is managed within the biological limits of each species. It also develops management strategies that consider social acceptability and responsibilities.
