The Oregon State Police (OSP) Fish and Wildlife Division need your help finding the person responsible for poaching a bull elk in Harney County in the southern part of the state.

A ranch employee found the dead elk near Buffalo Reservoir on the morning of September 23, 2017. An OSP trooper says someone shot it with a high-powered rifle and believes it was dead a day or two before being discovered.

If you have any information, contact Trooper Dean Trent through the Turn In Poachers (TIP) hotline at 1-800-452-7888 or 541-589-2547.
