Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks (FWP) is seeking information on two elk that were poached early last week (November 7, 2018) approximately seven miles west of Drummond along the frontage road.

FWP game warden, Brad Balis, said the poaching occurred sometime between the afternoon of Sunday, November 4 and the morning of Nov. 5. The violator(s) went through a closed gate onto private property and then drove across a hayfield where the elk were field dressed and then removed from the area.

Anyone with information should call (406) 210-9049 or 1-800-TIP-MONT (1-800-847-6668).
